Grateful for This Conversation

I’m so thankful to Robert and Kay Lee Fukui for inviting me onto their podcast, Thriving in Tandem, and for the mentorship they’ve given me. Sharing my journey as a leukemia survivor and young entrepreneur meant a lot, especially reflecting on how Heroko Shop grew from my desire to give back to the pediatric cancer community.

We also talked about my children’s book, The Second Race, on money and why financial literacy should start young. I hope this episode encourages entrepreneurs to remember that business is not just about income. It is about impact, community, and the people who support you along the way.

I’m grateful for the chance to share my story and even more grateful for all the mentors who helped shape it.
